Remarks This chalcid wasp is reported on coriander, cumin, fennel and fenugreek. In 1989 it was detected on carrot seeds in Chile. However, since then no references found indicating carrot as a host of S. albipennis. Therefore carrot is considered not a host. Available information indicates there is no scientific basis for regulation of S. albipennis on carrot seed.
